First - a quick review is in order. I've demonstrated that I will do
precisely what I say I will: to wit, I will match in length, detail,
and number of citations any scenario posted by a believer. I've done
so repeatedly, and invariably, believers then run away. I then
demonstrated that the Warren Commission refused to investigate prior
assassination attempts that would have shed light on the conspiracy to
murder the President. I then showed that the Warren Commission had
their "conclusions" in written form before they interviewed a single
witness... and that the Commission clearly indicated a desire **NOT**
to hold a real investigation. I then demonstrated that the evidence
from just moments after the shooting strongly supported a shooter at
the Grassy Knoll. I went on to show that the original medical opinion
within hours was for a frontal shot striking JFK. I then demonstrated
that believers deny what the Commission stated about when Connally is
seen reacting to a shot in the film, yet refuse to *explain* that
reaction. I demonstrated that the Warren Commission provably lied
about which shot struck Connally. I then demonstrated that there's
*no* evidence for transit - which is necessary to an SBT.
In a general way, the tests performed at the Edgewood Arsenal were
somewhat helpful to the Warren Commission - they showed, for example,
that the Mannlicher Carcano was powerful enough to have caused the
injuries to JFK & Connally.
But more importantly, the trail of fragments seen in JFK's X-rays were
not duplicated by Edgewood - thus showing that the Mannlicher ammo
COULD NOT do what was seen in this case. Just as importantly, all the
bullets fired into ribs and wrist bones were NOTICEABLY more deformed
than the nearly pristine CE-399. These facts are damaging to the
theory put forth by the Warren Commission.
The evidence produced by the Edgewood Arsenal show that CE-399 simply
could not have produced the effects asserted, and the EVIDENCE shows
that it was not the original bullet found at Parkland. The citations

It would not have been difficult for Edgewood to have *properly*
tested what the Warren Commission alleged happened, cadavers were
available for testing...
As Col. Finck testified:
Mr. SPECTER - With respect to the question of likelihood of Governor
Connally having been wounded in the back and chest with the same
bullet which passed through President Kennedy in 385, what reduction
would there be, if any, in the velocity, considering the relative
positions of the two men in the automobile as reflected in photograph,
Exhibit 398?
Colonel FINCK - Of course, to reach precise figures we would need
experiments and similar circumstances with the same type ammunition at
the same distance through two human cadavers, which I did not do.
But the purpose of Edgewood wasn't to find the truth... and indeed,
their actual results REFUTE the Warren Commission's theory. So the
Warren Commission rejected the actual evidence, and simply twisted the
truth to get what they wanted from expert testimony:
For after Dr. Oliver testified that the bullets he'd used in shooting
a wrist were flattened, and looked nothing like CE-399 - Spector
simply elicited opinions based on assumptions:
Mr. SPECTER. Do you have an opinion as to whether, in fact, bullet 399
did cause the wound on the Governor's wrist, assuming if you will that
it was the missile found on the Governor's stretcher at Parkland
Hospital?
Dr. OLIVIER. I believe that it was. That is my feeling.
Yet the actual tests done by Edgewood refuted this "feeling."

The truth, of course, is that CE-399's nearly pristine condition isn't
possible after passing through two bodies and smashing a rib and a
wrist. What we have are "just so" stories... told by believers who
cannot point to an actual test of a Mannlicher Carcano through the
equivalent of two bodies and a wrist...
It's clear that the critics conspiracy scenario far better explains
the facts discovered by Edgewood Arsenal - and by that fact alone
shows the critics version as better than the Warren Commission's
version.
