And even if they buy a newsreader, there's no guarantee that their insults will reach their intended target.
Unlike Google, where you have to physically ignore someone, most newsreaders now allow the reader to kill filter any poster. They never see any of their posts.
The insult is only effective if the target sees it. So why pay to insult someone if he's never going to see it ?
The spammers can easily be kill filtered too.
At best the troll contamination of this newsgroup is over, at worst it will be significantly depleted.
No wonder their panties are all in a twist.
